A DOT is...#1 - a MEMBER OF THIS FORUM #2 - AND a TAXI MEMBER (or guest of one) #3 - who is attending the RallyTherefore, dear Dots, please remember to go to the dollar store or stationery store or get your scissors out and make sure you have a Dot to put on your name tag when you complete your in-person registration

A colored dot on the name badge can be seen from across the hotel lobby. Nobody else knows (or even cares) what they are. See a dot? It's a forum member! Wear your dot and you'll have more forum friends within 30 minutes than you might on your own all Rally long without a dot. Here's a pic (one dot for each side)...I found mine at Wal-Mart (I think in office supplies or something). Basically these are round stickers that people use for pricing items at garage sales, things like that.Previous Rally's we forum members hardly never met (except by accident) but probably within a half day all of us had "found" each other through this crazy little "dot" system last year.Pretty clever, eh?

Dave, you're just a 'twisted dot starter.' Wish I could meet you folks this year, but I promise, I will try to make the Rally next year. It just wasn't in the cards this year.

Right on! I'll definitely pick up my "dot" before I get there. Is there any preference on the color? Or does it just need to be something neon so as to be seen across a large convention room?
