As if the 2007 Rally wasn't amazing enough, I just realized that this year's Rally (...or rather, REGISTRATION for this year's Rally) begins only two days after the Presidential elections. As far as I'm concerned, that means this Rally will be filled with even more excitement and hope and anticipation than you can imagine.Trust me, if this Rally is even .01% MORE incredible than last year's, you can not afford to miss it.Book your flights NOW before fuel prices get even uglier, and make sure to wear a dot on your official name-tag (once you are handed said official name-tag...)Can't wait to see all of you there...Ted

Already booked it, this very afternoon. And they say that now we have paid for our ticket, the price won't change. Hope that's true. And after I made the booking, I felt strangely elated. Oh what ya'll do do to me

I KNOW. It's a little scary how out-of-control eager I am for the summer to be over, just so it will be closer to November...Can't wait to see y'all again.

I'm still debating between the 19 hour train ride (across the desert at night, 1/2 moon's light, and pretty inexpensive) or flying out, but I will be there. Yes, Ted, I agree that it may be even more exciting for people that pay attention to politics. I'm just hoping that however the election turns out, it works out well for all of us! I don't think I could tolerate another 20 years of "permanent campaign" mentality.Vikki - once your flights are booked and paid for they can't change the prices. Only if you haven't paid yet can the price be changed.
