Howdy again!
Is a CD the preferred method of getting one's music into a VIP's hands (ears), or is a less-bulky flash drive (with all the necessary song/contact info) an acceptable alternative? Trying to keep my bags as light as possible
Thanks for the answers!!

While I like the idea of flash drives - I think CD's may still be the way to go. Make sure you label (include a track listing) on both the CD
and the CD jacket.
I know the VIPs get a lot of CD's thrown at them, so I wonder if a flash drive might get lost in the shuffle? Also, I know not all flash drives boot up with all computers. Just this week, my wife put her presentation on one, took it to school - her PC wouldn't read it. Put in a different drive - reads it fine
Another great tool: Soundcloud and a business card. I set up different sets in SC (dramedy, tension, action...) and hand out my card with a link to that page on it. I don't know if it's better or worse than CDs, but that's what I do. I carry 4 or 5 Cds with me to put in the box and give to someone that really wants it, otherwise, I direct them to Soundcloud.

Hi
There's a lot of information already in this Rally Open Topic section of the forum. Check out the other threads... Lots of discussions about what to bring, CD's vs. flash drives, etc, etc...
See you there!
