contents & budget CDs

Just jumping into the manufacturing/order process for my first DIY CD.
In order to be user-friendly for RR purposes, is it satisfactory to have a link to where the lyrics can be reviewed - or is the added expense of more panels-per-unit to have them part of the physical package the preferred method?

Also - what other info needs to be included?

In advance, thanks.

If you are talking about dropping a CD for a possible panel draw or for meeting a mentor, then printed lyric sheets are the only option. In terms of passing your CD out to other Rally-goers then just properly labelled CD in a light case or envelope is fine.

After a couple of rally's I just made sure my contact info was on the CD with the track list (helps to have genre), and used CD envelopes with windows that allowed the reader to see the info that way. Easier for me to pack, and certainly easier for others to take home as well.

A business card with your website and email is also handy.

When collecting business cards, I always wrote down on the back of it where I met the person for future reference.

[ PS - After the Rally I took the time to listen to at least one or two pieces on each CD I'd brought home, and wrote an email to the person I'd met. I was disappointed to find that 90% of them did not respond. :/ LOL ]
