Uber to/from LAX/Westin

How does one go about organizing group travel between the airport and hotel? They are not within walking distance (Google Maps says 1hr), so we'll all be taking Uber/Lift. Right now (noontime on a Wednesday) Uber is $22 for a ride. This seems like an easy way to save a few bucks for coffee later. Is there an easy way to coordinate travel for those arriving/departing at similar times sharing rides?

-Arriving guests should proceed to the “hotel courtesy shuttle” islands outside baggage claim at each terminal. -From LAX, the shuttle proceeds directly to The Westin, then stops at the Four Points. Traveling from The Westin to LAX: -Pickup at The Westin is just outside the front doors of the hotel.
You got the wrong Westin location? It's about 1 mile, not 1 hour.
edit: the Westin website says "4 blocks", so I'm not sure who's correct

Take the Westin Shuttle
It is 1 mile away (each block is 1/4 mile)

"Ditto" the other comments - be sure you're searching
The Westin LAX Hotel
on Century Blvd.
You can see the runways from the hotel - it's that close.
And don't be fooled if you see it's listed under the umbrella/ownership of Marriott...
it's still called The Westin LAX.

So glad to hear there's a shuttle! The 1 hr statement was how long Google said it would take to walk the 1 mile to the Westin. Apparently it's not set up to walk there.

Unless you are Seven feet tall and have a Doberman in each hand... I wouldn't walk it!

My wife and I once had trouble getting an über arriving at LAX on our way to Hollywood. So, we walked actually to the Westin and called an über from there. Didn't seem bad.

Westin shuttle runs 24 hours/day from hotel to airport.
Runs every 20-30 min, but not on a set schedule. (can call hotel to request pickup 310-216-5858)
Go upstairs to 2nd floor departures: reddish orange sign “Hotel Pickup”.
