Just FYI: to send an individual a Private Message (PM) hold the cursor over their name located immediately beneath their avatar/photo; the should bring up the PM menu.
Selecting that should then open the page where you can create and send your outgoing message - which the recipient would then get a notification sent to their INBOX.

BTW: locally, the Denny's All-American Slam will set you back $15... and that doesn't include coffee or the TIP.
And cheap gas is $5.20.
