Recording sessions at the rally?

Hi All,
Looking forward to my first rally in a few weeks. Sorry if this have been covered already but I didn't find it just now.

Is it okay to record sessions at the rally for personal use? There's so many sessions I can't imagine it's going to be very easy to just remember everything so I'd like to record what I go see to be able to review later. I also don't want to do something that's not kosher so I want to make sure it's okay first.

Thanks!

I don't know the answer but if it is , then I've recorded similar things with a Zoom H1 and it's WAY better than trying to use your phone.

Yea I was planning on using a Zoom H6. I had a zoom video camera but it doesn’t work so well anymore after 10 years.

You'd have to ask Taxi.

My personal opinion though is this is like many things in life. People spend so much time video recording or taking pictures, they totally lose living in the moment and enjoying it. Taking a few notes of the important points with a pad and paper is better IMO. And that's "a few notes", not obsessively writing the whole time and losing the moment that way either.

(and this from one who's normally a fastidious 'journal-er')

Personally I'd rather gouge out my own eyeballs than sit there with a pencil and paper. ( I'd never read then again anyway )

Nobody would know if you used a pocket sized recorder discretely anyway.
