This is my annual shout out to any 12-steppers, friends of Bill W. (AA, Alanon, et al) , et al, who would like to connect for a bit of fellowship at the Rally. There are usually some of us hanging around the various venues - maybe not the bar so much, ya know, but we are around!
"We are not a glum lot!"
Message me here (or elsewhere if you where to reach me.)

Hey Bradley
I know you meant will here

but there is a huge difference between someone "not imbibing" and someone recovering from or struggling with the addiction. I don't drink but I also don't have the disease. I can't even come close to putting myself in the shoes of a person living with this every day. And I'm sure an event where people socialize around the bar area is difficult for these friends of ours.
Best,

Casey

There's a wonderful piece of wisdom floating around the Alanon 12-step program, one that I learned from my good friend, Dr. Paul O. (whose story is in AA's 'Big Book'):
