Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know Starwood is offering "Stay three nights, enjoy the last night on us" for Westin at LAX. Not sure what kind of deal Taxi will have (if any), but this is a nice deal. See you there!

I just booked my stay and had them compare the rates.. the Taxi group rate is quite good. Just as a heads up for anyone in the corp world I was able to get a teeny bit better rate using the corp rate. I'm glad I mentioned it.. wasn't really thinking about it and it was brought up in passing on the phone while doing the reservations but ended up saving a couple more $$.

So were you able to combine the Taxi rate, the free (4th) night, and the corporate rate, all in one package?

And how do you get a corporate rate anyway?

I tried using the free night promo online and it said it was not available for the nights I wanted to stay. I wonder if a phonecall would yield different results. I already booked using Taxi's rates but perhaps I can still switch them. I would love to do the free nights since we plan to stay in LA a few more days after the rally and they had a pay for 4 nights get 2 more free deal.

Also curious about the corporate rate since we do have a tax ID#.

I would be surprised if the free night promo could be combined with the special Taxi rate. Usually the disclaimer "cannot be combined with any other offer" applies.

Sorry for the late response.. I wasn't able to combine any offers. I used the corporate rate of my employer, just was throwing it out there on the chance some of you may be in a similar situation and can check if there's a corp discount rate. I got the rate by being employed by a large corporation (have to bring proof upon checkin etc)
