Greetings Taxi comrades, I was just wondering if there will be an iPhone app available for the 2011 Road Rally? As I heard there was one last year. I just got an iPhone thing and am trying to get it all ready for the Road Rally in November, so if someone could let me know what the app is called so I can search for it and be prepared, that would be fantastic

I was also wondering which hotel will be the home of the Road Rally attendees, so I can get in early and make a reservation? I am aware there were negotiations going on between Taxi and the hotel venue, I am just wondering when this will be sorted so we can start booking in? I can't wait I have never been to a Road Rally before and am flying in from Australia, just preparing stuff at the moment and keeping an eye on these forums for handy hints re preparation.

So looking forward to the Road Rally, I plan on drinking lots of coffees and chatting a lot with lots of new people on the same wavelength.

Here is the app from last year. I don't know if there will be a new app of if they will update this one. Once Taxi 2.0 hits, things may change. Maybe Michael can chime in when he gets a moment.

As for the hotel - wait until they announce and there will be a very good deal to register. Last year I saved a bundle going through Taxi as opposed to expedia or such. Seems like last year they announced the deal the end of August (I could be wrong - but that's what I remember)

Anyway, be patient - they will post info soon and there is plenty of room at the Hotel, and a really good price to boot.

I wasn't sure about the iPhone thing, it doesn't matter really, I prefer printed paper program anyway, old fashioned but easier for all. To be honest I just got a free upgraded phone as part of my phone contract, (have never had the internet on my phone before) so I was just trying to get used to it before the Road Rally. I kind of prefer paper though, so if there is a paper program that will be even better, so I don't push a wrong button

Can't wait for the Road Rally in November, looking forward to saying "Hello" in person.
