Friend's death may cancel my trip to the Rally/ Room share?

I just received word that a good friend of mine (and the sax player in my band) just died, and his memorial service (that I may be coordinating the music for) may be this weekend.
So I may need to cancel attending the Rally.
Lots of details to work out, but I just wanted to give you all a heads up that I may not be there this year. I'll know more later today or tomorrow.
If I do end up needing to miss the Rally, is there anyone who is still looking to share a hotel room with the person with whom I was going to share a room? If so, please send me a PM, and I'll put you and my room share person in touch with each other.
