And then, the Rally was over...but the Rally-feeling is still there

I had read so many great things about the Rally, and I have to admit, friday morning, I was afraid it wouldnt be as life changing as I had envisioned. (Ok, I had not attended a single class or met anyone yet...) But come sunday night, and I had just that feeling I had been hoping for. Inspiration, focus, friendships, knowledge... It sounds like a cliché but this really changed the way I look at things!

Thank you Casey for giving me a dot, and being just as kind in real life as on the forum, and a big thank you to all the other forum members who made me feel so welcome, every time I was wandering around the lobby area feeling a bit lost, some dotted person would come and rescue me

Juliet - I tried to find some more of your music to listen to, but couldn't find it on soundcloud, and only one instrumental on the taxi-page. Do you have it anywhere else?

It was a pleasure meeting you too, Silje! I had fun when the two of us non-singers tried to sing in the lobby together. We scared off a few people (no children or pets were harmed, I don't think) but had a good time!

Yes, that was fun, but I don't know what was the most scary, our singing voices or the fact that we couldn't think of a single Beatles lyric I will make it a goal before next rally to know at least one by heart :=)

Great meeting you (and Tomas, one of your fellow Norwegians!) at the Rally . . . I kinda expected my first Rally to be a pretty cool experience, but walked away from it afterwards realizing I had just had one of the best weekends of my life. It was like a layer cake composed of (1) doing something good and proactive for myself and my music, (2) meeting a bunch of incredibly cool people, and (3) tons of education. Wow.
