Hello my fellow Taxi members!I just received my second forward on a hip hop instrumental I have written. I have not heard anything back on my first forward over 4-5 months ago. No big deal. I am just wondering if anyone is actually following up with the client your song was forwarded to and if so, what type of approaches are you taking. I just want to make sure I am doing everything possible that I can do on my end here. All the Best!~James

Hi James,First of all congrats on the great forward! My advice is to just go back to work on more tracks to submit. My experience is that the client will contact you when and if they are interested. There are so many variables that have nothing to do with the quality of your song. It could be as simple as they just haven't had the time to listen, especially if they have picked up a bunch of tracks or if they are in the middle of a busy season. What you definitely do not want to do is disengraciate yourself with them by bugging them. The key in this game is to write as often as possible, keep pitching, and be patient. Many of the folks here will attest to how long it takes to get your first call back, and even how much longer it may take to get your first deal.I wish you the best with your forwarded track. Best,Cisko
