Ok...I have to admit, I was pretty bummed today after my "You Shook Me All Night Long" lullaby was rejected but got right back on the horse with a Public Domain Hymn forward!http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=1The Owner of a Music Production Library needs PUBLIC DOMAIN HYMNS - INSTRUMENTALS ONLY (no vocals) for use in film/TV/commercials, etc.

sorry, didn't mean it to sound like that!I just was smiling the whole time when putting together that lullaby....a lot of love went in..if that makes any sense! You know how it goes when somebody tells your "kid" he "aint good enough"..ha!but yes, I am VERY grateful for the forwards and my first deal..I take nothing for granted.

Hey B! Congrats again and again and again...wow! You are on a perpetual roll, ha ha! I know what you mean! I submitted 2 for this one. The one that I liked was returned but got a forward on the one I didnt think I had a chance!

Flat,Yeah, it makes sense...and I can relate to the "kid" thing too.Brindabella...Congrats on the forward!...sorry about the return . It's really weird how that works out. I remember Dave Walton explaining that very same thing in one of his threads. I really understood what he meant when it started happenin' ta' me. You put out one of your best efforts (at least you think you do) and you're sure you've got a forward, and then...BANG! no luck. Then you put out a more effortless piece, and forget about it, and WHAAAT?? it gets forwarded. CRAZY MAN! I guess we'll have ta' start crankin' out more effortless, forgettable pieces, if that's the trick to a forward. ibanez468

Brindabella,Great news! That is weird isn't it? I guess looking long term, nothing is really wasted. You now have two pieces that have great potential....congrats again!

Hi B.FlatNice version. I like the tenderness that comes in just after the chord is struck at about :23. Good contrast. Good luck!!!I can relate to the discussion surfacing over Brindabella's comment. I got forwarded to this company too. I sent three pieces in and the one I thought would best fulfill the listing was rejected and the one that I though was a definite maybe made the cut.... go figure! Maybe the effortless ones have that vibe to them and so get forwarded because they sound, well, relaxed and effortless.Mewman
