I'm very happy to report that both versions (fx and no fx) of 'Hare On The G-String' were forwarded . http://www.rlcmusic.com/audio/HareOnThe ... x.mp3Thank you very much to the Screener. Screener comments were:-....................................................................................................(fx) Had a number of the elements of classic cartoon music: tongue-in-cheek, somewhat over-hyped drama, the always useful bassoon and a mock Classical approach. Good job!(no fx) It was probably a good idea to use a boiinnnng-less version of this piece, though they weren't that obviously different on first listen. Both versions are potentially useful.Rachel -Greetings and thanks much for both versions of the aptly titled Hare On The G-String. It was both amusing and accomplished and hit on a number of timeless comedy music conventions. You had the mock Classical, mock dramatic approach as well as some boinnngggs, bassoons and bells n' whistles. It all worked very well for me and you are indeed forwarded. Both variations of this piece could work in different contexts. Good luck, Rachel!!Strong production quality. Touched on many cartoon music devices skillfully.......................................................................................................Thanks again to everybody here who gave me feedback the other week.Best wishes,Rachel

Thanks a lot everyone. One thing I didn't expect with Taxi membership is that it'd expand the genres I write quite this much! - this isn't something that I'd usually sit down and write. So it's great how Taxi stretches you. These pieces can be a nice break away from the genres you usually write too.
