CONTEMPORARY HIP HOP SONGS that would appeal to the fans of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Grieves, Hoodie Allen, etc., are needed by a gold-plated Film/TV Music Licensing company. They need FUN Hip Hop songs with lyrics that focus on the life, celebration, partying, dancing, empowerment, success, etc. UNIQUE and QUIRKY instrumentation is OK, as the referenced artists' beats are pretty different from the mainstream Hip Hop you hear on the radio today. COOL, HIP melody lines, and INFECTIOUS HOOKS are what they're after. MID-to-UPTEMPO only. MALE VOCAL ONLY.
I think I may have made a permanent departure from underground hip hop finally.

Yah, I'm the rapper on the tracks.
I think having listened to a lot of the that relatively new sub-genre of "friendly/non-threatening rap" recently really helped.

Your two songs are very "accessible" - and that's great for licensing - especially through Taxi. Very smart of you - on top of the music, production and the rapping, which are all great. It's nice to hear this here! Good luck again.

This stuff is great! I SOOO don't know hip hop, but I love how you use space - rhythmically. Lyrically and instrumentally. Man that is a science so far out of my domain. But you do it fabulously. It's got punch.
