At the request of one of our esteemed colleagues I'm posting this forward.

EXCECUTIVE MUSIC SUPERVISOR at a HUGE HOLLYWOOD MOVIE STUDIO needs INDIE SINGER/SONGWRITER SONGS with MALE VOCALS for a FEATURE FILM. He’s looking for Mid-tempo songs with a COOL, PRETTY and SENTIMENTAL vibe. Your instrumentation must sound ORGANIC and WARM, with a CONTEMPORARY, STRONG INDIE VIBE in the general, stylistic ballpark of: “Heartbeats” by Jose Gonzalez: http://bit.ly/Q2alL “See The World” by Gomez: http://bit.ly/QyJhk “Just Another Girl” by Pete Yorn: http://bit.ly/wxTRX Songs supported by ACOUSTIC GUITAR or PIANO should work best, but a LIGHT, CLEAN ELECTRIC GUITAR or other ambient sounding instruments could also work. Light string arrangements that add emotion are encouraged, but NOT necessary. And if you DO add strings, make sure they sound real, and not synthy! Thanks for that!! Your songs should be introspective and a bit melancholy, but they’re NOT looking for anything too dark or depressing. Conversely, we’d also advise not submitting songs that are overly happy or aggressive. Kind of like “The Three Bears,” don’t you think? Give them something that’s “just right.”
And the song:

This one has been receiving some love lately, hopefully it finds a home some day!
