VP of Creative at a very successful Production Music Library needs UPTEMPO, FEEL GOOD CARIBBEAN/ISLAND INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS. This company works with literally ever Major TV Network, and places music on tons of hot TV shows. Did we mention that he loves the music that we've been sending his way?! ;-)Any style that's associated with the Caribbean region will work. Think Reggae to Calypso to Bachata, or any other style associated with the Caribbean. He wants to hear fun and free spirited Instrumentals that make you want to kick off your sandals and dance barefoot in the sand with an umbrella drink firmly in hand. He stressed that he DOES NOT want anything that sounds stiff or MIDI-Driven, so make sure your instrumentation sounds as authentic and real as possible. Use of steel drums, bongos, maracas, and any other island-ish instruments that immediately make listeners and viewers know the scene is taking place in the Caribbean are the order of the day for this pitch.Uptempo Instrumental tracks only, please. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Composition rights for this pitch. The terms of this agreement will be determined on a song-by-song basis when entering into a relationship with the company. Instrumental presentation must be really, really strong. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three Instrumental Tracks online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No Basis. The Owner of a TAXI Friendly Music Library needs INTENSE and HORRIFYING INSTRUMENTALS that would scare the living day lights out of you. A composition in te stylistic ballpark of "Symphony No. 1" by Krzysztof Penderecki is ideal. Quoting the source: "The tone of the piece will be somewhere between a psychological thriller and a horror piece. I'm looking for anything from simple drones to interesting musical abstractions (severe electric guitar distortion, or simple piano notes). Nothing should sound too synthy. I'm also NOT interested in any melodic tracks of music." Pizzicato strings, blaring horns, dissonant chords, etc., are all elements that will help you capture that terrifying vibe. Be sure you listen to the referenced piece of music to get a feel for the overall vibe. Take note that there are no melodic themes, rather, the piece is atonal and has no real structure. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recording are fine). Your track must be a minimum of 60 seconds long. This company offers an Exclusive deal with a standard 50/50 split. You'll keep 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher will keep 100% of the Publishing and the sync fee. You'll split the Master fee 50/50. You must own and control 100% of your current Master and Publishing (on original compositions) to submit. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD.
