"How I Feel" by Casey and Paul Otten got the forward. :D

ADULT ALTERNATIVE ROCK SONGS with Male vocals are needed by a Music Supervisor at a HUGE HOLLYWOOD PRODUCTION STUDIO. He’s on the hunt for Mid-Tempo Songs in the stylistic ballpark of artists like Counting Crows, Train, Pete Yorn, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to these references to get yourself in the stylistic ballpark: “Calling All Angels” by Train “Round Here” by Counting Crows “Strange Condition” by Pete Yorn Your Songs will be used as background source music in the background of a bar or restaurant. There will be lots of dialogue, so be sure that your Song is not too busy or so aggressive so that it could get in the way. Give this Supervisor intimate, organic, stripped-down acoustic instrumentation with interesting melodies and catchy, memorable, melodic hooks. Please do NOT submit anything that sounds stiff or MIDI-driven, or anything that’s too slow, dark, or depressing. Songs with really cool vocal performances should put a smile on this Supervisor’s face. He’s not looking for any particular lyric themes, but as always, universal lyrics should work best, so please avoid specific names, dates, times, brands, profanity, etc. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, and feel. The estimated license fee for this placement is $1,000 - $1,500, depending on the ultimate use. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you'll keep 100% of your Publishing and Master rights, plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control 100% of the Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. All songs will be screened on a Yes/No basis. No full critiques. Please submit 1-3 songs no later than FRIDAY, September 5th, 2014 by 5pm (PDT). TAXI #U140905AR

I've always been really proud of this one. Interestingly, it crosses genres in that it gets forwards for SS, Indie Rock, and now Adult Alt...

And, of course, that PO guy is no slouch!! :D

Thanks!

Casey
