Hi Everyone

I am so happy I went for this listing.
Got a forward on an African style submission

My Song is called African Hallo Good Morning. https://soundcloud.com/don-lougheed/afr ... od-morning
Basically a wake up in Africa song.

TRADITIONAL and CONTEMPORARY AFRICAN SONGS in all Styles, Moods, and Tempos are U-R-G-E-N-T-L-Y needed by a very successful Music Library that supplies all the music for a specific Cable Network. They’re open to any style of African music, from any African region, in any African dialect. Male, Female, and Group Vocals are all welcome for this pitch. Please review the following references as a general guide for the music they need (but don’t limit yourself to just the referenced styles): “Mama Ntilie” by Gelly & AT ft. Ray C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-QCQoAPLpo Kukere Choreography by D3Dancers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PouQQat-yQo “Monie” by Kanda Bongo Man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIBEl26er6Y Quoting the source: “We are looking for African music for a US-based network that features primarily African programming. We are the exclusive music provider for the network - all network music comes through us. The network is broadcast in several foreign territories as well. We need African influenced music of all types - from Traditional to Contemporary.” Please submit well-crafted Songs that capture the true spirit of Africa. You can submit anything from basic Tribal music with chants or call and response vocals, all the way up to contemporary African Pop music that would be heard on radio stations or in clubs, or anything in between. Think about all the different scenes your songs could be used in: Source music coming from a car radio; playing under a panoramic view of animals roaming the plains of the Serengeti; African nightlife in one of the major cities; travel shows; action scenes with warlords slugging it out, etc. Please make sure your vocals have authentic lyrics, no matter what region your music comes from or the style of music you submit. We’re pretty sure that universal lyrics might not be as important as usual for this pitch, but you’d still be smart to avoid profanity, and maybe even political-based lyrics. Your songs should be full-length (at least 2 minutes), and have easy edit points and non-faded endings will likely help you score extra “points” with this Publisher. Please have a mix minus vocal available. If the company signs your song, they’ll likely contact you for the mix minus vocal to make it easy for editors to use your music. Broadcast quality is needed (Great sounding home recordings are fine). “Broadcast Quality” would obviously be different for a simple, tribal song than it would be for a fuller production that might be heard on radio or in a nightclub scene. This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal. Upfront sync fees will be negotiated on a Song-By-Song basis directly with Music Library. They’ll get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit to this pitch is NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, May 13th, 2015. TAXI #U150513AF
