Oh, yeah..here it is. In my haste to find out what the next step is, I forgot to show you the song!?! Please let me know what you think, this is the first selection since I have been trying to make some $$. Is a forward just being selected for solicitation, or was my song actually picked?

Congrats on your first forward! It's the first step to actually getting a placement. If your submission was for a music library, that means it will be sent to them, and hopefully they'll listen to it, like it, and contact you about adding it to their library.
A forward may not lead to anything, but it's an important step along the way.
Good luck, your track is solid!

@Chris,
Thanks man! I appreciate it! Finally, something other than "please try again", it's still an atta boy until I get a response, but it's something! I make the joke about golf "it gives you just enought to keep coming back"... I guess the same rules apply!

Hey David, congratulations on that forward! The first one is a special feeling for sure, and is an accomplishment to be noted! As for what happens next, it varies. Sometimes you get a call right away, sometimes you get a call a few months down the road, and sometimes you don't get a call. But for sure, what happens is that your music is now in the hands of someone who makes decisions about what music to use, and the music they have is music that has been curated by Taxi, so that's a good thing!
I hope you get a call and sign the track!
Good luck,
-Loren

Congrats!!!
Now, Let's work it backwards ... Money in your account, means royalties and sync fees had to have been collected and deposited, which means your song had to be registered with your PRO (and placed in a project), which means the "decision makers" had to have decided to use it and not changed their minds at the last minute, which means it had to have been discussed at a meeting, which means the music supervisor expressed interest in using it, which means the music supervisor actually listened to it, which meant they had to receive it from someone (here's your Taxi forward) ... or found it in a library that contained your song, that's only in the library because you signed a contract to host your song there, but only if the library that your song was forwarded to makes contact with you and asks to add it to their catalog. Whew!!!
It's a good sign for sure, but don't get too excited just yet.
I'm not being a kill-joy, but that's the reality of this venture. Now get another forward just in case this one doesn't pan out.
Good luck!

Thanks??? Lol
Listen, I don't look at you as a kill joy. In fact, that's EXACTLY what I was looking for when I posted this. Look, I am a realist, this is my first submission, and I get a forward (please)! I remember this type of set up when I went fishing the first time. My Pops knew the pond had just been stocked with trout. He gave me a lure, and I was catching fish left and right. I said it out loud too.. "THIS IS EASY!"....never again!
Thanks for enlightning me on the process. How I am taking this whole thing with the Forward, is that I have confirmation that at least I know I am
supposed to be here. Now, if can figure out the formula, and make some friggin $$$, everything will be great! Seriously though, I am a student of the game, and I need stuff like this to know how to tackle the next juncture!
Good luck to you too! If you have any more advise, I am new to this, so I would appreciate any input.
