Emotional POP SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed for a $3,500, NON-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor Montage Placement in a Pilot for a new TV series on a Major Broadcast Network. They’re searching for Down-to-Mid-Tempo Songs that would fall in the broad stylistic wheelhouse as the references below: “Photograph” by Ed Sheeran: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSDgHBxUbVQ “I Will Remember You” by Sarah Mclachlan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSz16ngdsG0 “7 Years” by Lukas Graham: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHCob76kigA Please submit well-crafted songs that have an intimate, introspective vibe that will emotionally connect with an audience. Instrumentation can be as simple as an acoustic guitar/vocal or piano/vocal, or you can go bigger and land somewhere in the middle lane. Your vocal performance should be heartfelt, honest, and hopeful. Lyric themes should focus on topics like remembering, memories, and/or keeping people close to your heart, etc.. Please steer clear of submitting anything that’s too sad or dramatic. Keep it touching and positive, or maybe a tad bittersweet, but not sad. Avoiding references to specific names, dates, times, brands, and profanity will probably work best for this pitch. Please do NOT copy the referenced acts/artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). The estimated license fee for this placement is (up-to) $3,500, depending on the ultimate use. This is a Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Copyright and Master Recording, plus you’ll also get 100% of the Master License Fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control your Copyright and Master Recording to pitch for this opportunity. All Submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis. No full critiques. Please submit 1-3 Songs online or per CD no later than 11:59PM (PDT), Wednesday, July 19th, 2017. TAXI #Y170719PS
