Hello!

I've been forwarded in 2 listings! I'm glad!
Here the first listing:
AMBIENT and MYSTERIOUS INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a very busy Music Library that gets loads of great Film and TV placements. They’re looking for Instrumentals in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the following references we got directly from them: “What Have We Done to Each Other?” by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4wSJMorYK8 “Four Enclosed Walls” by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbEgFeQK4gw Please give them well-crafted Instrumentals that effectively deliver a mysterious and ominous feeling. Your instrumentation should be unique and based around current sounding electronic elements. Be sure to stick to a singular vibe and sound throughout your entire Instrumental to keep your submission emotionally cohesive. They are looking for moody Instrumentals and NOT for Instrumentals that are overtly scary or horror sounding! Quoting the Music Library: “Absolute highest quality library samples only. Bad or unconvincing MIDI sounds when replicating live instruments will result in a track being rejected, regardless of how good the writing is!” Your submissions should be at least 2 minutes long. Non-faded endings are needed for this request. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way shape of form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This company offers an EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal, and a 50/50 split in for any applicable download fees by clients from their Library! Because this is an Exclusive deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. You’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please send as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018. TAXI #Y180422AM

Here the TAXI's Listeners short critique:
Really nice job here. Good choices for sounds, and production values/choices are also working well. Nice job with the subtle build.
The second listing:
ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a boutique Music Library with tons of credits in big Feature Films, countless TV Shows, and TV Commercials. They’re looking for Down-to-Mid Tempo Instrumental Cues that would fall within the general stylistic wheelhouse of the following references we got from our client: NOTE: We recently ran this request as a Dispatch Listing (TAXI # D180320BI), but the company didn’t get enough material and asked us to put this request out to our full list to see if we could find them more great material. If you submitted to TAXI # D180320BI, please submit different material this time around! Instrumental Reference 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SimNzSt_jtA Instrumental Reference 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIM2xLELU8k Please send them well-crafted Orchestral Cues that start quietly and then gradually build to an emotionally inspiring climax. Your submissions can range from a small ensemble, to a full-blown orchestra, and anything in between. Stick with one mood from beginning to end, and give your Cues some forward movement, momentum, and a sense of building by layering instrumentation in and out as it progresses. Be sure any orchestral instrumentation you use sounds really authentic and believable. Material that sounds stiff, synthetic, or obviously MIDI-driven will not work for this company. All submissions should be about Two-Minutes long (give or take), with Non-Faded, Buttoned endings. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This Music Library offers an EXCLUSIVE deal with a cool twist. You’ll keep 50% of all gross income generated by your music, plus you’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share income generated by your PRO. In other words, if the company licenses your music under a blanket deal, you’ll get income. If they license it for a YouTube video, you’ll get income. Not all music libraries pay you for things like that! The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. Because this is an Exclusive deal, the music you submit for this pitch cannot already be signed with any other Libraries or Publishers. You must own or control your Master and Composition rights. Please send as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Monday, April 16th, 2018. TAXI #Y180416OI

Hello Horace,
Nice songs. I like the electronic cue with a nice smooth build. I also enjoyed the orchestral piece. What are you using for your string and woodwinds?

Good luck on the forwards.

The electronic cue is very cool- I like how slowly it builds. That takes patience to hold back all the spooky-sounding bubbling synths until the end.

Great sounds in there.

Hello Michael:
Thank you for your words! Regarding your questions, for Strings I love to use L.A Scoring Strings, and for Woodwinds I've used Cinesamples Woodwinds.

Thank you again!
Regards!

Hello Nicotina: Thank you! I'm not used to make music with synth sounds. I'm in a learning process and to be honest, when it's time to submit my music I have pure doubts.
You know, this is about making music out from words and descriptions, listening references and trying to create without copying them.

Thank you again! :D
Regards!
