Forward for High Energy EDM songs

My homie Steve Collom and I just got a cool forward for some fun pop music we made back in March / April'ish of last year.

Back in Spring of 2017, Steve and I - friends via Taxi & the Road Rally for years - finally decided to stop talking about collaborating on music and just freakin' make a bunch of it. So we made a few "test" tracks just to dial in a sonic palette and style, which made us hungry for more. So we signed an exclusive contract for an entire album of pop music due to the samples we provided to one of our mutual publishers. We called ourselves "POP PATROL". We were supposed to make 12 songs. Instead, we made 15. Delivered 12 as an exclusive album, and held three back for non-exclusive opportunities.

This is one of our favorites. Luckily, it's one of the three we held back for ourselves.

CONTEMPORARY, HIGH-ENERGY ELECTRONIC DANCE SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed for several $3,000, Direct-to-Music Supervisor, NON-Exclusive placements in a Dance-Based Feature Film. They’re looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs that could stylistically fit on a playlist with these references, which we got directly from the Music Supervisor:

“Electricity” by Silk City, Dua Lipa ft. Diplo, Mark Ronson
“Feel My Needs” by Weiss
“Sushi” by Merk & Kremont
“You Are The Reason (Tiesto Remix)” by Calum Scott
“I Got Love” by Don Diablo, Nate Dogg

Quoting the Music Supervisor: “This film needs exciting, dynamic dance tracks that could be heard in the best dance clubs or dance music festivals around the world.”

Please submit cutting-edge Electronic Dance songs that have a fresh, current sound; with great builds, engaging melodic hooks, and cool-sounding ear candy throughout.
Make sure your production has strong, infectious beats and a ton of fist-pumping energy. Your vocals should be confident and well performed from top to bottom!

NOTE: Please make sure the song’s energy starts as soon as possible. NO covers or remixes, please! Original music only.

Lyric themes can vary but should be stylistically consistent with the references. These songs will likely be used as Background Source music, so lyrics that avoid references to specific names, dates, times, places, brands and profanity are not an absolute necessity, but it couldn’t hurt!

Long live POP PATROL!!!!

~~Matt
