Got a forward for Solo Piano and was 1 for 3 on this one. My biggest thing on the two not forwarded was too much midrange which made it feel like a VST. Truth be told I had pulled some low mids out which might have added to this.

Looking for any and all suggestions on a good or great sounding VST for realistic piano sounds. I've checked some out but thought I would ask fellow Taxi Members.

I am totally in love with the LA Custom C7 in Keyscape from Spectrasonics, which is highly tweakable (and I really should tweak it, when submitting to TAXI listings!), it is my go-to piano VST.

Another popular one is Pianoteq, which is sample modelled. Alternatively, The Giant from Native Instrument is yet another popular choice.
