Heres the listingTENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES with some AFRICAN FLAVORS are needed by a very successful Exclusive Music Library. These Cues are needed for a specific TV Show, and this company (and show) need a lot of them! If you’ve got them, don’t be shy about submitting for this request!

NOTE: Due to the unique nature of this request, we purposely didn't include references as we felt they could potentially be more misleading or limiting than helpful.

Please send them Instrumental Cues that would support dramatic, tension-filled scenes. Imagine what you might hear if a season of Survivor was taking place in Africa and there were tension Cues needed for elimination scenes or when squabbles between contestants happen. Your pieces can include Organic or Electronic Instrumentation, or a hybrid of both, as long as they include some African sounds and influences. African drums and flutes would likely be helpful for these, but don't limit yourself to just those ideas! Structure your Cues around a central melodic theme, while adding and subtracting instrumentation as they progress to create some forward momentum and dynamic choices for the show's editors.

They've told us they "...would love to hear Cues that develop nicely every 4 bars, as long as they don't veer off the theme too much. If you include a "B" Section, don't overdo it!" Keep the changes subtle. Please be sure any African samples/Virtual Instruments you use sound authentic and are well executed.

Quoting the Library's CEO again: "They should also watch to not interfere with narration. Cues that take advantage of low frequencies and percussion to move things along with a good pulse would be optimal."

Your submissions should be at least 2 minutes long and should include a Non-faded, Buttoned/Stinger ending. Do NOT copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

NOTE: This Library is looking for composers that are active and can deliver/write a lot of material for future needs.

This company offers an EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 split. You’ll split any upfront sync fees 50/50. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this pitch. Please submit as many Cues as you’d like, online or on CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis – Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST) on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019.
