6/6 Dispatch Forwards

I've subscribed to the Dispatch for almost two years now, its about to expire next month. In that time I've seen exactly one listing that applied to what I do and I didn't have time to write anything for it. Then last week they posted:ORCHESTRAL or SYNTHETIC INSTRUMENTALS are needed immediately by the President of an established Music Library/Publishing Company who is looking to place tracks in TV dramas/reality shows. He is mostly interested in orchestral music with high quality MIDI work, and good sounding samples. He is open to all tempos, and moods can be in the wide range of happy, sad, contemplative, urgent, scary, nervous, playful, sneaky, intense, etc. In his own words, he says: “Don’t send synth that’s trying to be orchestral and falls short.” He’s requesting that the synth sound like synth, and the orchestral work uses authentic sounding instruments. The two different examples he used was music in the films Speed Racer or Spider Man.I didn't have time to try to write anything new so I threw a bunch of existing things at em. I was just excited to see something I might have a shot at. I ignored the Spider Man/Speed Racer ala's and just went for the decent sounding midi request. They all made it through for some reason. http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/1665646And there is another Dispatch due friday that I can actually submit something to. I wasn't planning on renewing dispatch this year. Might have to reconsider.

6/6?!! You can do that? Oh, Taxi might be in trouble now.Nice job. 'Thunder' and 'Lily Pads' are my favorites. On all the tracks, the swelling brass sounds nice. Very Matrix.

Congrats!!Bryan, I'll listen tonight.Yes, the limit is 3 per submission but it's possible to submit multiple groups of 3, obviously!!EDIT:Bryan, I've had a lot of luck with Dispatch. One good forward to a great contact and eventually it'll all even out. Of course, it's a gamble, but a calculated risk, nonetheless!

Hmm. Once I submitted two tracks, though about adding a third, and the listing was grayed out like I couldn't submit to it again. I might have to try that again sometime.

Thanks Randin! You can submit in unlimited batches of three as far as I understand it. This was the first time I tried it. Just submit three, then turn around and submit again for the same listing. But at 5 bucks a pop, its not the most economical approach. I was just happy to see a dispatch listing that I had shot at.B
