2 Positive Inspiring Piano Cues forwards

Got a bigger batch of returns tonight, but I also got my first two forwards in a long time, both for one listing:

https://www.taxi.com/listings/S201008PN

The most salient part of the listing read:
Please submit original Piano-based Instrumental Cues that have a positive, inspiring vibe and feel. Your arrangements can be simpler, Piano-only Cues, or you can add more instrumentation to create fuller productions – just be sure that Piano is the focal point. If you're using virtual instruments, be sure that they don't sound dated, overly quantized, or MIDI-driven. They want Cues that can be emotionally uplifting to viewers – give them that, and you could be on the right track!
Songs forwarded, both on my TAXI profile, were:

"Encouraging Words" (https://www.taxi.com/my/artist/songs/xr ... ging-words), which I wrote specifically for the listing, and promptly forgot about, like the book recommends. :) Side note for other techies: This was my first tryout of the Native Instruments NOIRE piano after upgrading to KOMPLETE 13 shortly before working on this listing.

and:

"Treasured Moments" (https://www.taxi.com/my/artist/songs/TV ... ed-moments), which I'd written last year for a "heartwarming holiday ads" listing. It didn't get forwarded for that listing (didn't "set a happy tone or vibe that works for the spot"), though it did get quite positive feedback.

Neither of the links work, they lead to a 404 not found.
You can find them via the main taxi link at the bottom

Hmm, weird. Thanks for the heads up. I tried them out from the preview before posting, but maybe they depend on being logged into my member account or something.

As mentioned above, they can be found from my member page at https://www.taxi.com/members/rickpaulmusic, but I was trying to make it easier to get right to the songs since there are a bunch on there. I'll see if I can find a way to fix the links later, but now it's time to make some breakfast and do a few other things before Road Rally time. :)

Thanks, Peter. Yes, I think NOIRE can sound quite real, though it can also sound all kinds of other ways, which is one thing that makes it very flexible, and the felt instrument gives an interesting variation even before adding the other elements. The one challenge I had with it is that, by default, even in the most natural piano settings, there seemed to be far too loud pedal and release sample noises for my tastes, so I had to turn those way down, or even off.

Yes, I seem to remember in the old days we tried to get rid of these noises. I think the NI Una Corda piano has sounds of the piano stool moving!

LOL. I know these are meant to be "character" pianos (and I've used pretty much all their pianos at one point or another, though the one I've used the most has been The Grandeur, with Alicia's Keys in second place -- both of those are behind the Garritan Steinway Basic, though). At least NOIRE did make it possible to turn that stuff down or off, though it was challenging finding which parts to turn off. At first I was thinking it was only pedal noises, but then there was still noise happening, and it took me a little while to figure out it was release samples -- I guess miking the player's hands and the keyboard or something?
