Really excited to have 1 of the 2 submissions forwarded for this listing:
ORCHESTRAL-Based DRAMEDY INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a very successful Music Licensing Company that lands placements on hundreds of shows on Major Networks every year!

This Company is on the hunt for Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:

"Desperate Elves" by Steve Barden

"Sneaky Snitch" by Kevin MacLeod

Please submit top-notch Dramedy Instrumental Cues that could work well in the context of funny or quirky scenes in competition-based Reality TV Shows. Craft your Cues around a singular motif, and create a sense of forward momentum and dynamics by layering instrumentation in and out as they progress. Please be sure that your production and any virtual Orchestral instrumentation you use are high-quality and modern – nothing low-quality or synthetic-sounding will work for this request.

NOTE: The placements generated from this Company will likely have good royalty payouts on the backend since they would be on Major Network Shows! Sounds great to us!

Your submissions should be about 90 seconds to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so the material you submit for this request CANNOT be signed with other publishers or catalogs. Sync fees will be split 50/50. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Saturday, August 21st, 2021. TAXI # S210821OD

Congrats!
I do prefer the piratey vibe of "Be-Dazzled" over the gypsy feeling of "Miss Chievous", seems better executed, IMHO

Thank you Marco for your kind words! I personally prefer Miss Chievous, the tune got stuck in my head for some days and I find myself humming the melody from time to time :) but hey, that's just me

I totally understand. Right now, I am in the same situation, writing the music for the opening titles of a telly series, and the director still does not think is right, and I do not agree with him :D

Congrats on the forward.
I listened to both tracks. For what it's worth - to these old guy ears (albeit an unsolicited critique) - on the returned track:
1) I was wishing the tempo was quicker... maybe up just 5bpm... but, would have to experiment to find where it's most comfy "in the saddle";
2) The marimba part :51-1:00 seems to have some timing issues - could that be?

Anyway, Amigo - good luck with the callback & placement on the one chosen.
Cheers.
PS - did you ever see the movie "Bedazzled" - from way back, with Dudley Moore & Raquel Welch?

Thank you Peter for your recommendation, I'll experiment with the tempo, although I've changed it mid-way to 82 in order to get the right feel, but will definitely check it with an additional 5bpm.
As for the xylophone, I guess I'll need to reposition the rolls, I suppose those are making the track drag a little bit.
The screener comments were is that a bit repetitive and needs a better development arc, so I probably need to look into that as well

And I haven't had the chance to watch the Bedazzled movie :)

Thanks again for your feedback Peter, I really appreciate it
