First two forwards but question re follow up

Hi all,

I got a couple of forwards over recent months (my first). A record company based in the UK reached out to me directly based on "tracks sent by Taxi" asking me to jump on a call with them. Of course, I wrote back and said yes. But then I heard nothing more from them despite reminders (btw, the are a known and reputable company). Eventually, a few weeks later, the guy got back to me with a one-liner saying "if you send over some material we're happy to review it". Anyone else ever had that experience? Is it 'normal'?

Thanks,

Tony

I don't know if it's "normal" as far as typical response but all I can say is these are busy folks getting a lot of tracks thrown at them and maybe they lose track of which track/composer is which as far as what they liked from Taxi forwards. But since they are a reputable company, may as well go with the flow and send material per their guidelines. I'd include what was forwarded and it they allow more, send more. Sounds like a win-win since you will get to hear a good library listen to your tracks. Good luck!

:-) Casey
