for this listing:JAZZ-POP ARTISTS along the lines of Norah Jones, Katie Melua, Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall, Tony DeSare, etc. are sought by the President of an Independent Publishing Co. He’s looking for artists that not only have great material for Film/TV projects [the priority for this listing], but also have what it takes to succeed on the next level as he’s also seeking artists to take to a major/indie labels. Having a completed CD is a bonus, but not necessary. Broadcast quality is preferred, but very good demo quality is OK. Please submit two to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics/photo/bio. Congratulations on the forward... and you never know about getting those deals. For some reason they come when you least expect them so playing it cool and aloof is a good frame of mind.

Congratulations! Well deserved. Just LOVE your voice. Please DO NOT put off music until you have more time for it ...that would be a real loss. Btw for what it's worth, I preferred "Razor's Edge"...excellent song, sets the mood beautifully. Certainly a song that many a music supervisor could use, the opps for something like this are endless.matto

Thanks Mazz, Dave and Matto, I truly appreciate it. And jes between us, I like razor's edge a little more myself. But that's because I didn't make the music standard I wanted on Much More.I'm nowhere near as good as all y'all are but I'll get there one day. I hope.

I beg to differ: You are every bit as "good" as any singer/writer/artist I've ever heard anywhere... and a very welcome addition of wonderful energy, here

First of all, they feel your music is "great material for Film/Tv projects" - that should give you confidence to submit these songs thru Taxi and elsewhere. They also must feel you have "what it takes to succeed on the next level." And you do. I could hear "Razor's Edge" in a Bond film... a perfect fit. Beautifully done. "Much More than That" has a great vibe. Good work - and kudo's to you!!!cheersHummin'bird

Wait, I have to yell too...Quote:I won't get a deal but the forward is nice. NOW WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU GO AND SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!! <please note that my foot has just swiftly connected with your butt> None of that! You are very good and the forwards are definitely deserved and a sign that you ARE capable of getting the deal for any one of those listings you've been forwarded for. Ok, done reprimanding. Congratulations
