A Few Forwards Lately

I've had 4 of my last 7 submissions forwarded on...including one "Kiss This Christmas" for the Taxi Compilation. Still no placements on any of them, but it feels like "it's working!"
Just as an encouragement for all of us who hear "No" regularly. "Yes" is still out there and might be right around the corner!

The hurdles:
0. Get it produced.
1. Get it submitted.
2. Get forwarded.
3. Get picked by library.
4. Get contacted by library for potential changes.
5. Get signed by library.
6. Get published by library.
7. Get picked by supervisor.
8. Get airtime (placement).
9. Get not forgotten on cue sheet.
10. Wait potentially 1-2 years on payment.
11. Receive payment.

Greetings Music makers, Hope the muse is working for all. And speaking of muse - I am reading the fairly new Rick Rubin book, The Creative Act A Way of Being, and recommend it to all. My name is Billy Kemp, a three month newbie, and I just had my first forward last week, an instrumental called Yank Road, and am grateful. I have submitted six pieces so far having, an average of two per month. Thanks for the opportunity to share the news and write my first forum contribution. Much success to everyone. Cheers, Billy

Welcome Billy. Newbie myself and it is good to hear you got a forward.
