Dispatch listings don't get posted on the Forwards Blog anymore, so I thought I'd share some of my more recent Dispatch forwards.

These 2 just came in a few hours ago-

LIGHT TENSION INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a very successful boutique Music Library that's distributed by Universal for placements in Promotions, Advertising, and other TV Programming.
This is a catalog you want to be in! Please listen to the following references to get yourself in the general wheelhouse of what they need:

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE LIBRARY: "Many composers throw in way too many ideas and are not focused on ONE CENTRAL MOTIF - they try to keep things interesting by adding new harmonic lines and elements (melodies, even improvisations, etc.), instead of focusing on the productions and textures." Put simply, keep it SIMPLE! We know that other Libraries like to receive music with complementary A and B sections, but this Library is NOT one of them – stick with ONE CENTRAL MOTIF per submission please!

Please submit top-tier Instrumentals with a tense and uneasy feel that could work well for a variety of sync placements. Your submissions should have engaging motifs, and simple arrangements that have one central motif throughout. Instrumentation that's in the general ballpark of the reference tracks will work best (think orchestral, electronic, and/or hybrid). Please make sure your productions are polished, and any virtual instruments or samples you use are high quality, realistic, and not dated-sounding.

Lots of HYBRID HORROR INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Brand New Music Licensing Company started by a seasoned industry pro!

NOTE: They already have distribution for their catalog, and because it's a new company this is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor and build a new relationship with an awesome new Music Library!

Please send in well-crafted Horror Instrumental Cues that have a dark and unsettling mood. Your submissions should have ominous motifs, and dynamic arrangements with jump-scare style, crescendo edit points. Instrumentation may be electronic or orchestral-based, or a hybrid of both. Please make sure your productions are polished, and any virtual instruments or samples you use are high quality, realistic, and not dated-sounding.

CHILLWAVE INSTRUMENTALS are are needed by a Successful Publisher with an awesome track record of really BIG placements!

A TAXI member recently landed a $40,000 sync placement through this company. The member and the company connected through TAXI!

Please submit well-crafted Chillwave Instrumentals with a dreamy, melodic feel! Your submissions should have nostalgic motifs, hypnotic grooves, and arrangements with lots of dynamics, forward motion and interest. Instrumentation that's in the general wheelhouse of the references will work best (think vintage synthesizers, electric guitar with reverb, retro-style drums, etc.). Please make sure your productions are balanced, and that any virtual instruments or samples you use are high quality and not dated-sounding.

Thanks for checking them out, and maybe we can all start posting our dispatch forwards here, I really miss not seeing and hearing all the forwards for dispatch listings.. so much to learn from the forwards blog!
