Hi TAXI Friends! Stoked to get my first forward after a ten year hiatus from TAXI. Just so you all know, I stopped using TAXI in 2015 because I got a job in radio as a music director that took all of my time. In radio, I was a GATEKEEPER that reviewed 50 albums per week, reported to charts, had artists and promoters begging me to play their music, and managed a music library with over 250,000 songs. I also engineered promo spots with background music for the station, so learned a lot there too. It was VERY EDUCATIONAL to be on the other side for a while. SIDE NOTE: I'd be happy to review people's songs if they want a radio airplay perspective, S/SW, Alt, Americana, Folk, Roots Rock, PM me.
THE LISTING: Lots of SUBTLE TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a great Music Library with International Distribution and lots of success in Film and TV placements.
This Library is searching for Mid-Tempo Instrumentals that could be found on a playlist with the following references:
"The Chase" by Soundridemusic
"Suspenseful Tension Music" by RealTunesStudio
"Subtle Tension Music for Background" by FesliyanStudios
Please submit well-crafted Instrumental Cues with subtle, tension-filled melodies, forward-moving arrangements, and minimal compositions that leave plenty of sonic space for dialogue. This Company is specifically looking for tracks with a more sparse approach overall, so nothing too over the top or bombastic will work here. Your submissions should include uneasy motifs, minimalistic rhythms/pulses, and solid arrangements with gradual building interest. Instrumentation in the general stylistic ballpark of the references will work best. Please be sure any virtual instruments you use are high quality and very modern.
All submissions should be about 1.5 to 2.5 minutes long (give or take) with non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.
