We had this discussion a little bit ago too. Patience, man, patience!

I got a forward for this one too, it's my 30th this Taxi Year (since last March). I've been contacted twice by libraries. If you ask veterans they'll tell you 1 library response for every 10-20 forwards is typical. You'll get one too! Just keep making good music!

And if it's helpful, there's a good chance once that library does get in touch, they might want also want some of these tracks that you've already worked on. So the work isn't in vain! (Also, as I said before, libraries can take a long time to get in touch....PATIENCE

That's a heck of a beat - uber chill and love the vibes (pun intended!).

Patience is key. I had at least 10 forwards before my first library. Then it was 3-4 libraries (about 35 songs total) before my first placement. The sooner you forget about forwards, the sooner they will email you! Then the real fun begins - like more versions of your song than you thought were possible, metadata, and spreadsheets...OH MY!

Your music is clearly good enough, stay the course Brendon.

That's super annoying--I've only done that once. I had produced a track specifically for a listing....then just forgot to submit it. Luckily there's always more around the corner.

Honestly, Im done submitting tracks for $5 a pop. Having not heard back from a single library for any of the 7 forwards I got I find this to be feeling like a scam. Not cool. Not cool at all.

Hey man,

I get the frustration, but it's only been 2 months (since this forward). My first library contact came 3 months after the forward, and it can take much longer than that!

Have you ever tried submitting tracks to libraries directly? Because I have, and the response rate is super, super low. Like, the library might not even listen to your tracks for months (if at all). That's just the nature of the business. You can't guarantee anything, but with a Taxi forward, you can at least be sure the library will listen to your stuff (eventually).

Do what you gotta do, but it's definitely not a scam, it's the business.
