...another forward that made me smile

Post by gitarrero » Fri Apr 20, 2007 10:09 pm

hi there, that's the listing:A Major Producer/Songwriter who has worked with artists such as David Bowie, Ricky Martin, Brandy, Robert Plant, Meredith Brooks, and Bad Company [plus many, many more] is looking to hire a MODERN POP-ROCK PRODUCER/WRITER/PROGRAMMER to work with him on numerous upcoming projects. He’s swamped - his projects are piling up and he can’t get to all of them, even though he already has a full-time staff. Hence, he needs to hire more talented writer/producers ASAP. He’s specifically looking for someone who can produce great, youthful-sounding material along the lines of Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, the Veronicas, Teddy Geiger, Ashlee Simpson, Tyler Hilton, etc. He needs someone who has their own home studio (necessary) and prefers that you work on ProTools (not as necessary). Instrumental tracks or songs with vocals are OK to submit. Master quality material is requested -- you must show that you can “produce the goods.” Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. For ground submissions, please enclose a S.A.S.E. if you would like a response. As always, we will notify everyone via e-mail, whether your submissions have been Forwarded or Returned. Submissions must be received no later than 2:00 pm, Pacific Standard Time (California time), Thursday, April 19, 2007. TAXI #D070419MP...and I got forwarded! I think it's the same producer of the other listing I posted, so now he got 2 packages from me - let's see... have a nice week-end!cheers,martin

Thanks guys... Yeah, I'm sure the images are a little messy on that site... I threw it together with iWeb pretty quick, so didn't take a lot of time tweaking photos and stuff. I just dragged what I had in iPhoto over... pretty slick, but not the best for fast loading. Thanks for the compliments on the music... I hope we all end up getting gigs from that guy!-stick
