When you get to the link page for either song, click on the HiFi MP3 button. The download button doesn't work.A wide range of LATIN SONGS & INSTRUMENTALS from cool dance-oriented Latin a la Kinky and Ozomatli to very traditional Latin Folk a la the Buena Vista Social Club to Mexican Mariachi and Ranchero are needed by a Music Supervisor for an Independent film that is similar in style and vibe to last year’s “NAPOLEON DYNAMITE.” An award-winning Director and Producer are attached to this project. Each of the main characters in the film are going to be identified with a particular style of music, so if your song is chosen for the project, it will be highlighted 3-4 times throughout the movie. There isn’t a huge budget for music, but they are offering around $200-$500 per all-inclusive license. However, there’s “tons of juice” with this project as an accompanying CD Soundtrack will bring a load of exposure to you and your music. Needless to say, there is ample opportunity to cash in on “back-end money.” Male and female vocals are OK, as are all tempos. IMPORTANT: You must own/control 100% of your song’s publishing rights. ALSO: The music supervisor is coming into TAXI to screen the submissions herself, so you songs are going directly to the source. Songs must be Broadcast Quality (excellent sounding home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. For ground submissions, please enclose a S.A.S.E. if you would like a response. As always, we will notify everyone via e-mail, whether your submissions have been Forwarded or Returned. Submissions must be received no later than 2:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (California time), Tuesday, June 28, 2005.
