HI folks. I asked Taxi if it was possible to set up this section, and here we are!! Thanks, Taxi!! I suggested this as a simple and artist-directed solution to the issue of having a list of forwards & links to the music, so we can learn about what the commercial music industry is looking for. Any artist who doesn't mind allowing public access to their music can make the choice to post a link. (Bear in mind that many successful TAXI songwriters/composers may not wish to share their music, or may not even use this forum.)Please also keep in mind that each listing company sets different "bars" on their listings. So what might make the cut for one listing wouldn't make it for another, even in the same genre of music.In order for us all to have a positive experience with this, please follow these suggestions:- put the listing number in the subject line; if that listing number has already been posted, please use the existing thread to post your news;- copy & paste the listing info from from your 'submissions history' ;- if you wish, add a link to your song on the web, lyrics in your post would be nice.PLEASE NOTE - IF you have a beef about the fact that your song was not forwarded to a listing, please post in "Peer to Peer' or "Screener Shoutouts".
