Hi, My songs "The Ugly Army" and "My Artificial Sun" were forwarded to this label:INDIE ALT ROCK BANDS in the wide variety of Arcade Fire, The Shins, Spoon, Fleet Foxes, etc. are wanted by an Independent label with a full marketing, sales and album promotion staff and is distributed by a Major. Finished albums are preferred (meaning already mixed and mastered so that they can just release the CD as is). They are looking for unique and compelling talent that they are excited to get behind and take to the next level. Instrumental and vocal performances must be top-notch! Please submit two to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics/photo and bio. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Tuesday, July 14, 2009. thanks!i'm glad i didn't sign the deal that a publisher proposed me for "ugly army" some time ago...those screeners really have that ability to put their finger exactly where it hurts=) I'm still not really sure about my chances to end up somewhere using taxi listings, still very sceptic. But it's obvious that even if i'm quite new to taxi, i got some more maturity, focusing much more on some kind of details than before. Even if nobody want my songs in the end, i'll have some better music in my pocket=)
