Been a real slow 2009 for me. This was a nice pick me upS090624BLDELTA BLUES SONGS (with vocals - no instrumentals) a la John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, etc., are needed by a West Coast Music Licensing Co./Library that has had recent placements on television shows such as Cold Case, The Mentalist, Big Bang Theory and more. They are looking for everything from introspective/soulful vocals to passionate and fiery vocals, along with outstanding musicianship within your song presentation. They offer an artist friendly, non exclusive contract, which shares fees and royalties 50/50.Ê Musicians keep all rights to their music. They asked us to be super selective when screening the material for them. Instrumentation and vocal performances must be top-notch! Broadcast quality needed [great sounding home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2009. TAXI #S090624BLThe song is RJblues2 on my taxi page . This is by far the easiest tracks I've ever done for TAXI. Wrote it in a few hours, vocalist and I sat back to back addresing a a pair of Gauge ECM-87s and tracked it all live one take. I wish there were more listings like this.Cheers,Erich

Ah man.....I DIG!This reminded me of a band back in the late 80s' (I think? those years all run together) called Badlands.....Jake E Lee and Ray Gillian. Good ol' rock and roll, then they would show this bluesy side.CONGRATS!

Super stuff, Erich. Very authentic, you can feel the ease on this song, great 'jammin on the porch vibe' but controlled and tasty, too.

Great song and the acoustic sound is so clear and great. I wish I could record that sound so clear and crisp.Erich, maybe you can pass on the system you use to record those acoustic sounds.RegardsTINO
