Three Country forwards!

Been a Taxi member for three months, but a songwriter for many years. Got my third forward this week. Unfortunately, I only have a couple of songs that would fit in on Top 40 Country radio. So far, my forwards are for people looking for neo-traditional. Hopefully, there'll be some need for alt-country stuff soon as I already have some of that.

What puzzles me is that I had a song returned because it started with the chorus. The reviewer said he/she loved the song but that you should never start a song with a chorus. Wish I could send him/her a list of hundreds of hit songs which start with the chorus. Oh, well, maybe the next reviewer will let it pass through.

The forwarded songs are Alcohol of Fame, Rodeo Dream, and Wayward Heart.

ROFL --- anybody with a song called "Alcohol of Fame" is OK in my book. Damn, that's awesome.

Yes Im personally very fond of Alcohol of Fame. These songs sounds great, totally something I would hear on the radio as far as being radio friendly and production. Great stuff!!!

Hey Michael,
Cool stuff man! Neotrad. pitches for sure, but also good enough to get in tv/film on your own merit, I think.
You may have an unjustified return for starting off with a chorus, but you also got a forward for one with a :42 sec intro! How cool is that these days 8-)

Congrats
