I just got my first forward. Actually 2 instrumentals were forwarded!! I am so happy! Now what? Will the company contact me? Will they contact me only if they are interested? Where does it go from here?At least somebody on this planet appreciates something I did!!

Congrats on the forward!!And yes, the company to which your music was forwarded will review your music, and decide if they want to contact you or not. By reading this forum it seems that this contact can be quick (like a few weeks), or can take up to a year (or more).

From here on out, it's completely in the hands of the listing party. If they're interested in your stuff, they will get hold of you when THEY are ready.This is the hard part after getting such great news. But rather than waiting around to hear something, forget about it and start writing something new. That's been the mantra around here for quite a long time now... "write, submit, repeat, write, submit, repeat..." And it's the best way to deal with the anxiety that comes with waiting. (I'm TRULY speaking from personal experience here.
