1/2 Uptempo Crime

Post by stevebarden » Fri Jun 12, 2009 7:48 am

The one that got forwarded was written specifically for this listing and the one that didn't make it is because I tried to force it into fitting. This was also my first piece using Heavocity which I received the day this was due! Talk about rush jobs!Intense Investigationhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=2357 ... =trueSteve

I love the way this track starts. Great job, great orchestration. The percussion is great too. I love the way the string line floats above that modern percussion loop, along with the stabbing string hits.

Yeah Steve!!Very John Powell a la Bourne or Italian Job. And that's a very good thing. The long string lines kind of act like a reverse drone in that they are in the upper register but they keep the "inner tension" going while the adrenaline is metabolized by the percussion.Cool!!Mazz
