BINGO!!! 1st Forward - Crime Drama

1st Forward!!! Yeah!!!I am VERY excited to get over the first hurdle so I can see and learn what comes next in the world of music libraries! I went round and round on this listing as the A LAs didn't really represent what I thought the listing text was looking for. I wrote eleven tracks of varying styles and wound up submitting only one that I thought sounded right to me, my original theme. I guess if they want to hear more, I'm set. I was really expecting to be rejected once more as being Off Target but I must have guessed correctly. At any rate, I am encouraged!!!Y090504CDCRIME DRAMA INSTRUMENTALS in the style of the underscore for such dramas as CSI and 24, are needed by an East Coast Music Publisher who has secured dozens of Film/TV placements for TAXI writers over the years. He is looking for mysterious and suspenseful styles that "must have a contemporary rhythm section". He'll be looking for shifts in tone, instrumentation and dynamics throughout each piece. He definitely does not want it as hyper-tempo as requested in listing # Y090512ID . He's open to any arrangement or instrumentation, as long as the tone is right. Excellent performances are absolutely necessary. He specifically said he wants to hear tracks that are :60 seconds in length. He doesn't want fadeouts, just clear endings. Broadcast quality is required [excellent-sounding home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three compositions online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Monday, May 4, 2009. TAXI #Y090504CDhttp://

For the past few months I have been operating in a "I think I can" mode. I could complain all I wanted about the screener system in place. But now I KNOW I CAN as you say and at this point I believe it is up to me. I think the sun is shining a bit brighter this morning! Thanks to all here who have taken the time to give me some encouragement and training on this forum over the past few months!Keith
