Well I got my first forward "Kids Will Play" :D which was exciting but I think the Ad Agency passed on the song because I never heard back. Still, very exciting. I've been playing guitar for Bill Ward (Original Black Sabbath Drummer) for 25 years however, you can hardly hear any guitar in the track. So you just never know! Thanks, TAXI. Keith Lynch

Major NY Ad Agency needs a "Fun, unexpected, KID friendly (but not Radio Disney Ð a little hipper than that) INSTRUMENTAL TRACK" for a global brand's TV Spot. They seem to like tracks that are very RHYTHMIC. Here's one they gave us a reference track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbEy98llGRUHere's another, but it's CRITICAL to note that they are NOT interested in the vocal cheers the kids are performing. They ONLY like the rhythm track:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNabu9daJUcPlease note that the Gap ad is only a reference, and this spot is NOT for the Gap. Your track will need to be FRESH, CONTEMPORARY, RHYTHMIC, and appealing to kids AND their moms, without sounding too young or too old Ð that will be the most difficult task and one of the key things these tracks will be judged on. This spot will eventually need children speaking/singing vocals on it, but for NOW, we're ONLY looking for a winning 30-Second (:29.5 including ring out) RHYTHM TRACK. If your TRACK is picked, you'll need to sign a non-disclosure agreement and turn around at least a DEMO vocal, that CAN be adults faking it as kids for now, and mix by Sunday night, December 11th. As always, do NOT rip off the reference songs in any way, shape or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, feel, and vibe. The ESTIMATED FEE for this is $20,000. This is DIRECT-to-the-Agency, so you'll KEEP 100% of this deal with NO Publisher Splits! Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine). You must own or control 100% of the Master and Composition rights. If you ARE chosen, the Ad Agency or the Music Supervisor will contact you DIRECTLY. Please submit one to three SONGS online or per CD. Please include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS. NO FULL CRITIQUES FROM TAXI due to the extremely short timeline. Submissions must be received no later than THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8th, at 5pm (PST). TAXI # Y111208IN

Congrats, my friend....

"Ward One: Along the Way"...Pretty damn good album! Well done and experimental!
Bombers (Can Open Bomb Bays)...Still one of my favorite songs from that era...Ozzy at his very menacing best!
All Star cast surrounding Bill on this one!
Perhaps you'd like to electrify the fine people here and tell us who the players were...I know... ;) :D

If not, I just noticed a mention on your Taxi site...

Good Luck!
All the Best... 8-)

I actually co-wrote "Bombers can open Bomb Bays" with Bill Ward and played the lead guitar on it too. Back in the big hair days. You gotta love it.

Hugh line of guest artist on that record...Ozzy Osbourne, Jack Bruce, Zakk Wyld, Eric Singer, the list is long.
Thanks for the message, Keith
