WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This forward probably means as much, if not more, than any other forward I've gotten so far. If you want to know why, check out the post that I just added, like 2 minutes ago - http://taxi.proboards27.com/index.cgi?b ... read=11933 - talk about timing!I'm also excited because this is my first forward for 2009! We're having some "economic issues" at my day job so this forward couldn't have come at a better time to help take my mind off of things. Here's the listing:MODERN ROCK DEMO PRODUCERS are being sought by a Major Producer/Songwriter who has worked with artists such as David Bowie, Ricky Martin, Brandy, Robert Plant, Meredith Brooks, and Bad Company [plus many, many more]. He needs someone who owns his or her own Pro-tools or Cubase type digital home studio. He does not want to hear Instrumental tracks - only full productions with vocals. High quality material is requested -- you must show that you can produce amazing demos that sound like records. He typically pays about $500 per track and may bump up the fee on a case-by-case basis (depending on what happens with the songs). He is only looking to employ a few people in several different genres, so we have to be extremely selective in what we forward to him. Please submit 2-3 songs online or per CD, include bio! All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than Noon (PST) on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. TAXI #D090127RKHere's the link:Not With Me - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ream=trueI also submitted my co-write with Audiorayne - "Won't Go Back Again" - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true - but it was returned due to "material not compelling/distinctive enough." And for those of you who wonder if it still feels just as exciting to get a forward a year after you've joined, heck yeah it does!- Big Blue
