This year has sure started with a bang. My one entry for this listing, Space Adventure, was forwarded. My last five submissions have now been forwarded! I'm also trying to move from the "shotgun" approach to the "rifle" approach. So far so good. Thanks to everyone who commented on my piece and made terrific suggestions. Here's the track and the listing:Space Adventure" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ueORIGINAL DRAMATIC/EPIC SOUNDTRACK INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an Independent Record Label for a Compilation CD project that will be released by a Major Distributor. This company has signed dozens of TAXI writers for use on projects distributed by Sony/BMG, Universal, EMI, etc. This company would like to hear original pieces that have as much range and power as some of the most popular soundtrack themes - Star Wars, Indiana Jones, E.T., etc. They don't want cover arrangements for this one, but would rather hear original compositions. They'll be most interested in dramatic, sweeping, orchestral arrangements that have an epic feel. They will consider compositions that feature a blend of contemporary and classical instrumentation/tone, but the focus will still be on thematic power and compelling motifs - lush and powerful arrangements will catch the most attention. Master Quality is necessary for this one, though great home recordings should be just fine. Please submit 1-3 instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than January 23, 2009. TAXI #S090123INSteve
