HIP HOP/RAP INSTRUMENTALS IN ANY STYLE for Film/TV placements are wanted by the President of an L.A. Music Library/Publisher who has signed and placed many TAXI writers/songs. You can think in the range of Kanye West, Common, Usher, Jay-Z, etc. in terms of approach and stylistic possibilities - there aren't any restrictions in terms of the approach... quality is the primary factor. These need to be instrumentals only, specifically for the purpose of placements in shows such as One Tree Hill, CSI, Las Vegas, Grey's Anatomy, Rob & Big, The Biggest Loser, etc. This Publisher will be looking for really compelling tracks that sound radio-ready and current/cutting edge. No vocals for this one, please. Performances/production must be excellent and recordings need to be Broadcast Quality (great home recordings should be fine). Please submit one to three tracks online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than January 23, 2009. TAXI #Y090123HHWe worked on this one for a couple of months our approach was not to be too repetitious. I tried to get a couple of rappers to rhyme on this and they couldn't do it they said that we were crazy and the music sounded like it was made for the movies I do think it was probably one of the most complicated tracks that we done. The people that holla at me on this message board knows how I get down take a listen to it your opinion is valuable to be. www.taxi.com/reggiesnd "mountain"
