Not sure if this is the right place to post this, as it wasn't a Taxi forward, but I'm so excited I had to tell someone! I just got my first single-song contract offer from an independent Nashville publisher for my song "Same Shirt, Different Day".Also today got accepted for a publisher's evaluation workshop in Nashville. You had to submit songs to audition, and there were quite a few more applicants than there were slots, so it was nice to be accepted... especially since I was going through a bit of the cyclical songwriter "I'm not worthy" syndrome.Cam

Well, it's just a tiny little Indie publisher in Tennessee, but it's my first baby step and it's the reason we're all here isn't it?Andy, I haven't actually spoken to them yet about any of my other songs. They just responded that they liked the one song I sent them and offered me a two year deal on it. Cam
