For the listing: NEW AGE INSTRUMENTALS that are relaxing, melodic and not too dark are needed ... fantastic New Age Instrumentals for a comp CD that will be marketed and distributed to European Wellness Hotels. The "Swan" ...http://www.taximusic.com/download/19595 ... e_.mp3This tune, based on a disassembled 10-year old smooth jazz theme was actually more an experiment with my new EWQLSO Gold and I figured I had overshot the mark with too much dynamics and my ever-unavoidable jazz influences. But it was forwarded, and I'm ...well, jazzed! PS. And yes, like most my tunes .. "Swan" is an funny twist on a girls name, Xuan. She's long gone, but the tune lives on!

When the gentle repetiting phrases reache a nice fulfilling stage you brilliantly break away to a satisfying new phrase at 1:14 and 3:02. The playful way you pull in new instruments here and there really sweetens the experience. Great guitar tone too, buddy! There's so much to compliment you for here!Good luck getting a deal on this one!Allen

Stan,Enjoyed your track.I hear a little of Chuck Mangione's orchestral vibe and feel. (this is a good thing)Personally, I don't think having "ever-unavoidable jazz influences" is a bad thing. It's kind of like owning "too many" guitars. How can it be bad. Hope you develop more stuff like this.Chuck

Yes Stan,Congratulations on the forward. This was a very enjoyable listen. I think Chuck is right as I am also hearing a little of the Chuck Mangione influence. And like so many others here I personally like the jazz influence. Great selection of sounds too.Kurt
